Vince “Vinny” L. Davis, of Slidell, passed away after a courageous battle against cancer on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
He was 34 years old.
He was the husband of Deborah “Sissy” Davis; father of Victoria Michelle Davis and Tyler Vince Davis; son of Judy Crumley Davis and the late Hubert L. Davis; step-son of the late James Jackson; brother of Huey Davis, Bryant Davis and Danielle Jackson; grandson of Edith Crumley and the late Herbert Crumley; son-in-law of Anita Corbett and David Corbett; brother-in-law of Cynthia Corbett, Toni Jean Davis, Michael Corbett, Chris Corbett and Tina Corbett; and uncle of Jordan, Ty, Bralyn and Shelbie.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Slidell. Davis was a Pile Driver Foreman for Boh Bros. Construction Co. He was a member of the Carpenters & Pile Drivers Local 1846.
Funeral services were held on April 24 at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell.

Adam Craig Livingston passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was 33 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Cory Pearson Livingston; three children, Alexis Lynn Livingston, Adam Craig Livingston Jr. and Morgan Erica Livingston; his parents, Jerry and Hazel Livingston; sister, Robin Livingston Dearman; and two brothers, Jason and Stephen Livingston.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Hazel Livingston and Susan Ridenhower and Wade Baham.
Funeral services were held on April 20 from the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41, Pearl River.
Samuel Michael Macafore Jr. passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012.
He was 64 years old.
Macafore was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel M. Macafore Sr. and Mabel Plaisance Macafore; and brother, Cosimo Macafore.
He is survived by sisters, Frances M. Tidwell, Maryaline M. St. John, Bernadette M. Beckstrom and Victoria; and brother, Vincent P. Macafore.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War while serving aboard the U.S.S. Boxer. He was a welder by profession.

Sharon Vanrysseghem, of Pearl River, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012.
She was 54 years old.
She is survived by her sons, Jesse Romo Jr., Angelus Romo, German Vanrysseghem and Johnny Vanrysseghem; three grandchildren, Katie Romo, Rayne Vanrysseghem and Calli Vanrysseghem; four sisters, Charlene, Trudy, Kim and Jan LeBlanc; and two brothers, Ervin and Vick LeBlanc.
She is preceded in death by her husband, German Vanrysseghem; parents, Gertrude and Ervin LeBlanc; and brother, Johnny LeBlanc.
Memorial services were held on April 28 at D.T. Williams.
Danny Keith Willingham, of Slidell, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2012.
He was 60 years old.
He is survived by his children, Bradley Willingham and Madelynn Farmer; grandson, William Farmer; and sister, Gail Kaznowitz.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Lillian Willingham.

Raymond Dahl Slotness, of Lacombe, passed away peacefully at his home after a short battle with cancer on Friday, April 20.
He was 94 years old.
He was the husband of the late Audrey Turner Slotness for 65 years; son of the late John and Johanna Slotness; and brother of the late Lester, Arthur and Oscar Slotness.
He was a native of Duluth, Minn. and a resident of New Orleans and Lacombe since 1940.
Slotness was an avid sailor and an Honorary Life Member of the New Orleans Yacht Club and was a Past Commodore.
He was a member of the Bayou Lacombe Masonic Lodge #459.

Marjorie Poland Sipes passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
She was 79 years old.
Sipes is survived by a brother, Berkley Poland Sr.; nieces, Lee Ann Dunne and Darlia Myers; cousin, John McCarroll; and aunt, Nina Rogers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Anne Poland and Etta Lemoine Poland; and husband, Tommy Sipes.
Funeral services were held on April 27 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41 Pearl River.
Warren S. Bodenheimer Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012, at Lacombe Nursing Home in Lacombe.
He was 81 years old.
He was the husband of Carol S. Bodenheimer for the past 31 years; father of Raymond Bodenheimer, Warren Bodenheimer III, Christina Roddick and Lori Sprague; son of the late Warren S. Sr. and Lilian Greer Bodenheimer; and brother of Robert Bodenheimer, Cynthia Gowland, Earl Bodenheimer, George Bodenheimer, Helen Kelley and the late Lorain Taylor and Donald Bodenheimer.
He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bodenheimer was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired Plumber and member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 60 of New Orleans.
A memorial mass was held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell on April 30.

Wilbur Ley Smith Jr., a native of Florida and a longtime resident of Slidell, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
He was 73 years old.
He was employed by Boeing Space Program and was instrumental in the design of the Saturn Rocket.
In 2001, he retired from Martin Marietta Space program. His name is recorded in the Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institute for his contribution to the Saturn Space Program.
Smith was a charter member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and as music director.
Smith is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Ley Smith Sr.; and an infant son, Wilbur Garrett Smith.
Surviving him is his wife of 49 years, Hilda Jones Smith; son, Kendall Ley Smith; daughter, Laura Smith Bonnette; and three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his mother, Sybil Rowan Smith; and sister, June Smith Fairley.
Funeral services were held at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Slidell on April 27.
