Patricia Gill Newsham, of Slidell, passed away on Dec. 27, 2011, in her sleep.
She was born on March 16, 1929, one of eight children, to Herman and Gladys Himel of Hammond, La.
She was the wife of the late “Coach” Audis C. Gill.
She is survived by two brothers, Ray Himel of New Iberia and Jamie Himel of Morgan City; eight children, John (Alba) Gill, Kathy (Carrol) Hoover, Sally (Steve) Ott, Pat (Mary) Gill, Carol (George) Cureau, Mike (Yadira) Gill, Tim (Aida) Gill and Colleen (Kenneth) Granger; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell on Jan. 2.

Alyssa Kay Esperance, of Slidell, passed away in the arms of her mother and father on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012.
She was 11 years old.
She was the daughter of Joseph “Joe” P. Esperance and Donna Buley-Esperance; sister of Joey, Eric, Brandon, Tyler, Collin, John, Jordan, Chase, Alivia and Donnie; and granddaughter of Kay and Mike Locklin and Donny and Karne Buley and the late Florence and John Esperance. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
Esperance was a lifelong resident of Slidell.
A memorial service was held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Jan. 18.

Jodean Marie Singletary, of Pearl River, passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.
She was 33 years old.
She is survived by her husband Bradley Singletary; daughter Lauren Marie Singletary; parents Duane and Dawn Pinter; mother-in-law and father-in-law Brenda and Cecil Singletary; grandparents Robert and Sandra Witkowski and grandmother Marlene Cheesbro.
She is also survived by brothers, Robert and Matthew Pinter; aunt, Darlene Witkowski; uncles Steve Pinter, Ed Pinter and Mark Cheesbro. Singletary is also survived by in-laws Kim, Will and Josh Singletary.
She is preceded in death by her uncle Brandel Witkowski.
Funeral services will be on Friday, Jan. 20 from the Chapel at Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy 41, Pearl River, at 11 a.m.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home.

Thomas M. Scott Sr., of Slidell, passed away on Wedneday, Jan. 11, 2012.
He was 52 years old.
He was the father of Thomas M. Scott Jr.; father-in-law of Amber Rabalais Scott; son of Jimmy Scott and the late Louise Scott; step-son of Betty Scott; brother of Vicki Johnson, Jimmy Scott Jr., Dennis Scott and Jeffrey Scott; and step-brother of Daryl Devillier, Sherri Cobb, Melissa Bond and Stacey Olson.
He is also survived by six nephews and five neices.
Scott was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial gathering at the Northshore Beach Volunteer Firehouse, 267 Debbie Drive, Slidell, on Friday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m.

Bernard “Red”?Oulliber, of Slidell, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
He was 92 years old.
He was the husband of the late Aline Buell Oulliber by first marriage, and the late Beatrice Mae Judah Oulliber, by second marriage; father of Mary Dickerson; son of the late Emile and May Oulliber; and brother of Walter “Buddy” Oulliber.
He is also survived by two grandchildren, Antoine Cambre and Shane Cambre; and three great-grandchildren, Katherine Cambre, James Cambre and Cameron Cambre.
Oulliber was a native of Madisonville and a resident of Slidell since 1923. “Red” was a World War II veteran.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemtery in Slidell.

Herman Thomas “Tommy”?James, of Slidell, passed away at his residence on Monday, Jan. 16, 2012.
He was 66 years old.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlette Holden James for the past 45 years; father of Leona James Bennett and Brian Thomas James; son of the late Herman T. and Vivian Lee James; and brother of Vivian James Lee, Elizabeth “Betty” James and the late Eugene “Gene” James and Randall Ray James.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, James R., Zachary T. and Chad A. Bennett and Eric T. and Dylan T. James; and a great-granddaughter, Gracielyn M. Bennett.
A native of Atlanta, Ga. and a lifelong resident of Slidell, James served his country in the US Navy and was a retired A/C Technician and Manager for Carrier Commercial Services in New Orleans.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Friday, Jan. 20 at 12 p.m.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

John Astor Daly III passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012.
He was 58 years old.
He was the son of Virginia Adair Ebner Daly and the late John A. Daly Jr.; grandson of the late Margaret Cecelia Ebner and Arthur Leonard Ebner; brother of Terri Monita Daly Wilson and the late Margaret (Bonnie) Adair Daly Conatser.
He is also survived by a niece, Bonnie Marie Thibodeaux and a nephew, Justin Chase Wilson.
Funeral services were held at Christ Episcopal Church, 1534 Seventh St., Slidell, La., on Jan. 17.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ Episcopal Church, preferred.
