Patricia Harris Parrish, of Slidell, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012.
She was 74 years old.
She was the wife of the late Johnny S. Parrish; daughter of Tennie Mae Vance Godwin and the late Walter Robert Harris; sister of Billy Harris; and sister-in-law of Betty Harris.
She is also survived by a nephew, William Harris; friend, Marion Tranchina; and a step-brother, Jimmy Godwin.
She was retired from AT&T after 35 years.
A funeral mass was held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Aug. 27.

Robert “Bob” Ernest Denley III, of Slidell, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
He was 77 years old.
He was the husband of Lucia “Lou” Ramos Denley; father of Kathy Denley, Jeannine Denley Pichon and Brian Robert Denley; and brother of Randy Denley, Janet Broumfield and Joyce Sambola.
He is survived by three grandchildren.
Denley was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Reuter Denley; father, Robert Ernest Denley Jr.; and a son-in-law, Perry Pichon.
Denley was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, and a resident of Slidell since 1993. He retired from New Orleans Public Service.
A funeral mass was held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Aug. 25.

Russell E. Garrett, of Slidell, passed away on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 in Slidell.
He was 94 years old.
He was the husband of the late Dorothy Gonzales Garrett; father of Robert D. Garrett, Rodney G. Garrett and Stephen W. Garrett; son of the late Jesse and Ella Garrett; and brother of Gerald Garrett and the late Elois Garrett Long and Phillip Garrett.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Garrett was a native of Crestview, Fla., a longtime resident of Metairie, La., and recently a resident of Slidell. Garrett served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII achieving the rank of 1st Sgt. and retired as a motorcycle dealer.
A graveside service was held at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Ms. on Aug. 24.

Terry Lynn Alsobrooks Sr., of Pearl River, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at his residence in Pearl River.
He was 54 years old.
He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction business and a women’s softball coach for many years in Pearl River.
Alsobrooks is survived by two children, Terry Lynn Alsobrooks and Sean Alsobrooks; mother, Opal Jean Craddock Alsobrooks; and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia K. Deemes Alsobrooks; a son, Aaron Michael Alsobrooks; and his dad, Milton Alsobrooks.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 25 from the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41, Pearl River, La.

Michael d’Arlan Needham passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012.
He was 76 years old.
Needham is survived by his wife, Carlene Ragusa Needham; children, Sara Needham Russell, Elizabeth d’Arlan Needham, Michael David Needham; step-daughter, Mary Ragusa Ahrens; sister, Maureen Needham Aldrich; and his friend of 40 years, Maria Benton.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Maurice d’Arlan Needham and Thyria Hughart Needham.
Needham was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a 50-year member of SCCA (Sports Car Club of America), and a member of the Krewe of Dominique Mardi Gras Club.
Contributions to American Liver Foundation in lieu of flowers.
