SLIDELL — Trigg Watson said he’s nervous – in a good way – to come home to Slidell and perform his magic show.
Watson, a Northshore High School graduate, recently performed in Las Vegas at the Vegas Magic Theater for one week, and now he’s coming to the Slidell Little Theatre to perform “Magic Live” on Friday, June 1 at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 2 at 8 p.m.
“It feels great to come home and have a full stage show. This community has supported me so much since I was 11 years old, wearing a bow tie and juggling,” I’m thrilled and nervous — a good nervous,” Watson said.
The NHS grad said performing in Vegas made him feel like he had “made it,” but he hasn’t accomplished all he wants to do.
“It was exciting being there, but I want to extend my show and come up with new material. Sometimes I have an idea of something before I know how to make it happen. It’s what I love to do,” Watson said.
Watson’s show uses a lot of audience involvement, which is why the Slidell magician said his show always feels different.
Admission to the show is $20 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for kids. The Slidell Little Theatre is located at 2024 Nellie Drive in Slidell.
